We offer three different fits in our Barkers Regenertaive Cotton Denim Range; Drifter, Rambler Silm, Nomad Taper and the Wanderer Straight.
Not sure which to go for? It pays to give a little thought to your own body and the rest of the clothes you wear. Rambler Slim is good for an athletic body type, it works great if you like more fitted clothes and slimmer styles of footwear.
The Nomad Taper is the perfect balance of feeling functional while looking a little more refined. The easiest style to dress up or down. Pairs really well with shirting and blazers.
Our Wanderer straight is a timeless look. A little looser, a bit more relaxed but still sharp with a pair of Chelsea boots. It’s our most flattering fit that never goes out of style and is perfect in the cooler months to match with jackets and layers of outer wear.
The Rambler Jean is a slim fit designed to be streamlined close the leg. The Rambler Jean features a mid-waist rise that is slim to the thigh all the way down to a slim leg opening. It's our narrowest leg - but not too skinny.
The Nomad Jean is a tapered mid-waist fit with room from the seat through the thigh and tapers to the leg opening - making it optimal for those who want a little more room to more and are looking for a slim look jean.
The Wanderer Jean is a regular straight fit with a mid-waist rise. It is designed with room from the knee down and offers a relaxed straight leg opening. The wanderer Jean is a classic yet refinded staple.

Leg length
Our denim jean range comes in two inseam lengths, 34” for our Rambler Slim and Nomad Tapered, 32” for the Wanderer Straight leg. But they don’t have to stay that way.
Alterations
We offer a hemming service in any of our Barkers stores or take them to a local alterations store and get them tailored to your perfect length.
As a general rule, at or just below your ankles is where they should sit. This small detail will make a world of difference to how the jeans look overall. And when you’ve sorted your alterations once, we'll save your details for next time.
The pro tip: Think about shoes or shoe style you’ll wear most often with your chosen pants and wear these when trying on and being measured.
