I’ve had these boots for about a month now. They look great, and the leather itself is really nice, so I genuinely wanted to love them. Unfortunately, I’ve been quite disappointed with them functionally.
I usually buy my boots from 3 Wise Men, but I saw these and thought they looked amazing, so I decided to give them a try. Within the first day, I noticed an issue with the sole. The material on the bottom seems to pick up every little bit of gravel, grit and small stones from the ground, which then gets dragged along as I walk.
It’s particularly frustrating because I can actually hear the stones being dragged along with me when I’m walking. My commute to work is only about 10 minutes through the middle of the city, so they aren’t being used in particularly harsh conditions.
The heel has also already started to show noticeable wear after only a month of use, which I wasn’t expecting.
I really like the look of these boots and the leather is nice, which makes the issues with the sole and heel even more disappointing. I wanted to love them, but unfortunately, for the price and after only a month of normal use, I now wish I had saved my money and stuck with the boots I normally buy from 3 Wise Men.
