FOR FISH SAKE - TALES FROM THE SEA

Legasea’s work has never been as relevant as it is now in protecting our fish species and the waters they come from. These last few months Legasea have been pushing harder than ever to ensure fishing, the ocean and our rights remain for all to enjoy for generations.
We’ve been proud supporters for years and the new range is the perfect gift for anyone that loves fishing or getting out on the water. Have them looking good while doing good this summer.

LEGASEA MARLIN PRINT TEE

What an iconic fish. True it’s a game fish but also true is that LegaSea and the New Zealand Sport Fishing Council stopped marlin becoming a commercially caught species in NZ waters FFS. We had to fight like a marlin but we won and that’s why we promote the release of marlin wherever possible when caught. And for the fish sake why wouldn’t you. FFS

LEGASEA WORKUP PRINT TEE

We are about as worked up as we can be. We have made this design because the work ups are disappearing. Purse seiners take all the bait fish in large nets. The seabirds starve and the big fish have nothing to feed on. Bring back the work up we say and you can be a part of it for fish sake. FFS

If ever there was a crisis in the making it has to be the way we have treated crayfish. We treat crayfish as a delicacy. A high value export fish for off shore tables. A black market target. We can’t afford to pay for them or lose them. They perform a functional role in our ecosystem. If there is one fish you save be it a crayfish for fish sake. FFS
