It's important to look after your leather goods. While they are hard-wearing, long-lasting and get better with age, they still need some care to help keep them going.

For leather footwear, you’ll want to protect them before the first wear. You can find protective sprays in our shoe care section or at any good shoe store or repair shop near you. Keep your shoes clean- wipe them down after an unexpected trek through some mud, a drop of lunch. To clean them, a damp cloth is usually enough. If you're wearing the same pair regularly, remember to treat them every few weeks for better protection.

Look after their shape. While it might be tempting to slip or force your shoes on and off with the laces still tied, this can break the backs. Be diligent about your laces and even better, use a shoe horn.
