Why use click and collect?

Great for when you're not sure if you will be home for delivery. Your order is guaranteed to be in store before you make the trip in.

How to use local click and collect

Shop your local store online and see what styles and sizes they have in stock so you can pick up your order even quicker.

Local click and collect is a great option to help you save time and get up-to-date information on store stock levels.

You can shop online through the live view of your local store so you'll only see items that are in stock with your chosen store.

We've made local click-and-collect easy to use, just follow the screenshots shown below.

Shop your local store through online view

  • Head to a category page e.g. New Arrivals and select the 'Available Near You' tab 
  • Then you can find your local store and shop on the website with products only available at your chosen store.
  • Easily switch back to complete online view by clicking the 'All Items' tab
  • We've made local click-and-collect easy to use, just follow the screenshots shown below.

Check live stock for any product

  • Head to the product page for the style you like
  • Click the 'Check Store Availability' and you'll be able to see the live stock counter for that style across all Barkers stores.
  • Select your local store to see approx click and collect time. 

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Shop local stock vs deliverable stock?

    Using our new local stock functionality, you'll be able to shop available stock in any given store across the country. This means you won't have to worry about waiting for stock to be delivered to the store before picking it up, if it's available in local stock it'll be ready for you typically within 4 hours. If however there is a style or size not available in local stock you can still place an order with your local store selected it will just mean that the pickup time will take longer and you'll be notified when you're selected style has been delivered in store. 
  • Will I get notified when my order is ready?

    Yes. You will recieve an order confirmation when the order is placed, and then when it is ready to pick up from the store. If the store already has the product in stock then this should be ready for pick up within 4 hours. However, if the store does not have the stock, it will be ordered in for you and you'll be notified via email that the order is being sent to your selected store. You'll then be notified via email when it has arrived in store. 
  • Do I pay for my order in store when I pick it up?

    No. Your order is pre-paid for online. You do however have the opportunity to purchase any other product or exchange for other styles, which would need to be paid for in store. If you require any tailoring such as hemming, the team can arrange this for in store and you can pay for any alterations at that time.  
  • What do I need to bring as proof of purchase?

    We take the security of our orders and collection seriously for your piece of mind. As such, we will ask for a form of valid NZ ID such as, Drivers Licence, 18+ Card or Passport. We reserve the right to refuse collection of any order should these requirements not be met on collection.  
  • How long do I have to pick up my order?

    Technically we will hold your order forever, but we will give you a few courtesy calls to make sure you haven't forgotten about it.
